Welcome back...running late this week. Seems it's been a little crazy around the office. Unfortunately, one of the crazy things was that my upcoming trip to Sweden for a conference was abruptly cancelled ("the economy, you know"). We are not amused.

But Rome is nice! A beautiful city. Even the mountains as I flew in were nice.

The little streets were cool...

The statues were cool...

The steps were cool...

And of course, the fountains were cool...

I have this thing for sculptures

And of course there is the Trevi fountain

And the panteon. I love the amazing walls inside.

Yet another fountain...

And I'll finish off with the Spanish Steps at night (and a little fountain)

As I said, running late...and running out. See you next week.

I love Rome so much. It is such a great city, so much to see. The catacombs and the forum are must see as well. If you have the time you should try a day trip to Pompei, it too is quite amazing. Just thinking of Italy makes me long to be sitting in a cafe in Florence sipping a glass of wine. *sigh*

This is wonderful, thank you. I want to see Rome someday, and especially, Pompeii. I love fountains, and if reincarnation turns out to be real, I must have been Roman in a past life, because I am totally fascinated with ancient Rome.

I dreamed about Leaning Tower of Pisa the other day. Now these beautiful photos of Rome. I really feel like visiting Italy now.

Ahhh, what a beautiful reminder of my time in Rome. Alas, I threw the coin in Trevi Fountain, when will I get to return?
