A detective forced a woman to perform a sex act and then raped her while on duty in his own police station, it has been alleged.
The woman, a heroin addict, had been called to the station to be told that a complaint that she had been gang-raped by three men would not be investigated any further.

What an awful story. You can't even trust law enforcement these days. This man has a history of doing stupid stuff like this, so hopefully they don't let him slip by this time.

However, I do find it as well weird that he was charged 3 different times. But why didn't any of these woman yell?

So an investigator calls his cell phone numbers and interviews these people and, lo and behold, more victims.

Doyle this is a lot more common then you realize. People will say anything especially when they are on drugs and are in police custody. Officers are accused of this type of thing all the time. Now the smart thing to do would be to make sure a male officer is never alone in an interrogation room with a female or having a female officer do the interrogations but that is not always possible due to not having enough officers in most departments.
Which is why the heroin addict is less likely to say anything, she doesn't think she'll be believed.
And, you're right, there should ALWAYS be a female officer in the room when a male officer is interrogating a female witness, victim, or criminal.
Personally, I find it concerning that there have been this many independant accusations against this ONE officer...
so i am not sure this story is so horrible as much as giving attention to drug addicts
as for police, there are corruptions every where , but i would not say that means you cant trust them because of this, i would say check it out before you accuse someone
i would say dont believe till you have the evidence, and if indeed he has previous complaints, it makes sense to investigate
if a person takes drugs they get into all sorts of nasty business, it is a very nasty deal indeed
