I've been a Bzz-Agent for a few years now. I test new products like several other people here on Gather.
I was thrilled to get picked for the PledgeTM Fabric Sweeper campaign.

We have a little dog (WOODY) that has very fine hair. His hair literally weaves itself into everything. We've tried a lot of other products, not to mention just plain sweeping it. Everything works but with a lot of elbow grease and a lot of time.

I was a little disappointed when I opened the box. I don't know what I was expecting but I thought it would be something we could empty and reuse. This is not the case. Once it's full you throw it away. Okay, I can deal with that, if it works. All you have to do is swipe it back and forth in short strokes. Okay, easy enough.

Another problem I had was that it seemed to be a little flimsy. Not something that would hold up for any length of time. But if you are throwing it away, I guess that doesn't matter. It's not like you will have it around for years. Throw it out and buy a new one. Who wants to mess with that nasty hair anyway?!?
So, after my negativity wore off I cleaned house, ran the sweeper, and even ran the sweeper over the couch. Now, it was time to (skeptically) bring out the big guns and try the Fabric Sweeper.
I was pretty impressed. After reading a few other reviews on this product I was reluctant to even try it. Maybe because Woody's hair is fine, it worked better. I was almost embarrassed that it actually worked so well, considering I'd just ran the sweeper and it still picked up hair that I didn't see. That's the hair that gets all over our clothes, probably in our food, and we breathe it in. Sounds gross but you know it goes everywhere. I tried to get a good picture of the hair inside but his hair is so light it just wouldn't show up. This is the best I could get it. Sorry.

In my opinion, it works great. I'm using it on my car this weekend. It needs it bad and I think this just might do the trick.
If you have pets that leave hair all over, I think you should give this a try. I have a few $1 off coupons if anyone would like to try it and leave me a feedback letting me know if you did or didn't like it. Send me your addy in an email here and I'll mail you out a coupon. These are limited so let me know quickly. I have already given a few out and don't have many left.

I missed out on the campaign, it was full by the time I got the email. *sad face*
Count me in on the "wish it was not disposable" train, otherwise I like it.
They are around $5 at Walmart. There is a coupon for $2 off at: http://www.rightathome.com/offers/200902-pledge/
Gave you a 10.
Thanks Ginny.
Nana, I'm afraid mine will fill up pretty fast now that I've seen what one day did.
Faith I hope it works for you on the cat hair. It came right off the couch and pillows.
I had wondered about it.
Thanks Susan
Thanks for the review. I had never even heard of this thing before. I don't like the idea that you throw it away and go out and buy another one. Bad for the environment!
Beth, I hope it works for you.
Jeanna, I'm glad I (or this article) was a deciding factor. That's awesome.
How much was it Iris? I haven't seen it in the stores yet.
Laurie, you went to a lot of trouble. I'm sure pulling it out wasn't as easy as loading it up. lol
Lori, this would've been good for you. It works. If you go to http://donna42mass.gather.com/ (she's above up there donna h.) she has a video of it and how good it works.
I'm glad your's worked for you, too, Beverly. And it's so simple and handy especially when you have to lug out the sweeper or for a deeper job the husband uses the shopvac. I used it again today and doubled what I had in there before.
I am definitely going to have to find a deal on these somewhere!
