Last week Maddie and I put a bird feeder up in the backyard. Untill yesterday I have not seen any birds around it at all. Except a few small ones on the ground on Sunday.
Well.... yesterday Maddie and I were watching out her window and all sorts of birds showed up! Including a male and female cardinal!
I have the feeder set up so that we can sit and watch the birds out Maddies bedroom window. She loves to watch them which is why my father gave her the feeder and some birdseed. Every time we go to his house Maddie just loves to sit and watch them out the window!
I was able to get a few shots of them, some better than others. They didn't stick around long, they are probably still a bit cautious I think.
The male cardinal came down by the feeders for just a moment but then our phone rang, and since I had the window cracked a bit to fit my camera out it scared him. After that he hung back near the backyard. The female stayed though.
