My Health and Wellness Blog - Tuesday's Entry

I am resolving to eat well, be well, and feel great!
Now I come to the factors which outline the proper working out of my program of a health & wellness for life.
Health for me is the key factor.
Without health I can do nothing. Without health I will not succeed neither in my studies, nor in my character, nor in any sports I try or my social activities, nor in my home-life. Health to me is a matter of careful living.
It is not only from things I eat or drink, but it is also obtained from my wise and careful avoidance of things that are not good for me.
- I resolve to eat for my strength and not for my taste.
- I will eat to live and to serve. I will not live to eat.
- I will eat simple foods, go to bed early and get up early.
- Do regular exercise daily.
- Be moderate in my eating and drinking.
- Chew my food thoroughly, and not overeat.
- Guard my health
- I will conserve my energy
- Reflect upon my ideals
- Be kind to myself
- Be absolutely truthful to myself
- Serve others
- Think happy & healthy
So for today I eat well, consuming 6 portions of fresh fruit & veggies. I even added some bananas & raisins to my oatmeal this morning. I also took my first sample of Sam-e to improve my mood ( thanks to my win on gather); and since we are still stuck with winter I decided to celebrate it instead of dwelling on the cold aspects of this season.
So today I went and slide on a snowy slope with my grandchildren for an hour. I did have to sit back and watch for the second hour as I needed to conserve my energy, besides that grammy was beat!! LOL But I think I may have gotten some happy hormones from the fresh air & sunshine, as I found myself laughing alot and giving tons of hugs.
