Xomba:Get paid to write or post links

I know that many Gather members, are always on the look out for various writing & income opportunities.  Xomba is an interesting combo of article marketing and paid social book marking.  Xombytes are 150+ word articles and Xomblurbs are social bookmarks, which include a short sentence or 2 description of the link.  Content does not have to be exclusive, but must be in your own words. 

The way payment works on this site is through Google's Adsense.  When you are approved for Adsense, you are given a unique publisher number.  Whenever someone checks out one of your articles or links on Xomba, Ads are displayed.  They work with a 50/50 system half of the time, your publisher number is used, the other half theirs is.  

Another way you can earn on this site is through referral.  You can get 20% of Xomba's cut of your referrals earnings.  This does not effect the earnings of you referrals, they just run your adsense code, instead of Xomba's 1 out of 5 times.

It works out like this 50% writers code + 10% referrers code + 40% Xomba's code = 100%  Pretty straight forward.

Although not as social an atmosphere as Gather, it is easy to keep track of your friends articles and links, so you can check them out.  Certainly no substitute for Gather, more of a supplement.

Please keep in mind that the minimum payout for Adsense is $100.  This site is ideal for current Adsense users, people who are considering  starting their own blog/site,  very prolific writers (regardless of the platform used) and heavy social bookmarking users.  I see Xomba as a good way to get started with Adsense, as well as, a nice additional traffic and revenue source for bloggers. 

 Would do well for those who want to promote, their articles or blogs (and those of friends).  It is always good SEO to get an extra link or two to your site, or posts.  You could use Xomba as an extra way to promote your articles on Gather.  You are using the social bookmarks button on  Gather aren't you.
