We ended the month by going to a party at my sister's house on the Wakulla River in Florida. Although cloudy and a little windy, the temperature climbed into the mid to high 70s. We were able to enjoy the beautiful wildlife and relaxing scenery...

By days end, the storm began closing in and we had to get on the road. Today, we had snow flurries and have stayed bundled up in front of the fireplace. It's a far cry from how we spent yesterday. I would much prefer to be outdoors, with the sun on my face, wind in my hair, and water nearby.

Cassandra ~ That is true. It did give us a good excuse to stay bundled up inside :)
Bob ~ I liked the one of the ducks, but I wish it would have come out better.
David ~ I do, indeed, enjoy your Florida ;) Thanks so much for stopping by.
Granny ~ We had snow flurries were we live (in Dothan). Luckily they didn't get any where my sister lives.
Nancy ~ I will be so glad when it warms up! I do not like winter.
Tracy ~ I like that one too :)
Elsie ~ You never cease to amaze me. I did not see that until after reading your comment. Thank you for bringing my attention to it AND for stopping by.
Magi ~ Yes, both in a matter of two days. I need to be thankful to have seen both days. Thanks for the gentle reminder :)
Doc (Lloyd) ~ I made a move that was right for me, maybe not at the time but it all turned out for the best. I'm very happy where I am, with my life, and the decisions I have made. I am also blessed to have my sister live in this area so I can visit whenever I wish and be able to enjoy this beautiful area.
Digital D ~ thank you! It hasn't been hard at all this time and I feel much better not smoking :)
Kay ~ thanks again and I'll be posting the birthday pics soon. I love you guys :)
Victoria ~ thank you x 3 :) I couldn't resist getting a photo of those little yellow blooms. They were standing all alone beside the dock. A splash of color. I can not wait for spring either.
Tina ~ I do too. We grew up in south Georgia and always saw moss in the trees. It reminds me of days gone by :)
Hey Brenda ~ good to see you. We need to get together again soon and catch up! Thanks for coming by here.
Sounds like Oklahoma weather...one half of the day can be warm and sunny then with a twist of the wind...cold and gray.
Also, in the darker part, I see a lions head---That is so neat! Thanks, Elsie for having me to look and Ren, thanks for taking this picture. It gives me an answer to some things that I have been pondering of late!
Kay ~ Thanks for bringing that to my attention too. You can actually see those images better on the original photo. You'll have to look next time you come.
Thanks, Bob & Gina.
