BASEBALL, A-ROD AND ME

Spring Training is in full force for Major League Baseball and the World Baseball Classic gets under way tomorrow.  I have published my baseball story for the Spring at www.rusemag.com.  It is about A-Rod's steriod use and my one own pangs chasing the American pasttime.  Do drop by and leave a comment both here and on the Ruse site.

I just finished reading your article. It's a wonderful story. I only know who A-Rod is because of the bad press he has recently received. Not being a baseball fan I still enjoyed reading your article. Childhood memories can make for a good story. Thank you, Michael, for sharing your memories with us.

Got an e-mail from one of my sisters that never misses the M's spring training in Yuma... Lucky dog that she is! And though A-Rod no longer plays for us (Seattle) we all really felt the sting anyway. Just another reminder that we're all human and the game DOES go on!
