Mother Nature, in defiance of Al Gore's "Climate Change" predictions, sent snow to Long Island on March 1st. Weather forecasters are suggesting she may continue this frosty anger well into Monday.

(SUNDAY EVENING) Snow with sleet likely in the evening...then snow and sleet after midnight. Precipitation may be heavy at times after midnight. Additional snow and sleet accumulation of 4 to 8 inches. Windy with lows in the mid 20s. Northeast winds 15 to 25 mph... Becoming north 25 to 30 mph after midnight. Chance of precipitation near 100 percent.
(MONDAY) Snow in the morning...then snow likely in the afternoon. Snow may be heavy at times in the morning. Total snow accumulation of 10 to 14 inches. Windy and cold with highs around 30. North winds 20 to 30 mph. Chance of snow near 100 percent.

Despite conflicting reports from the groundhog weather forecasters it seems that Mother Nature is determined to remind us that the color of St. Patrick's Day isn't green ... it's WHITE! Whether or not she will push into the Easter season is unclear at this time. But if you lazy egg hiders decide not to color your eggs don't blame me when snowfall will camouflage all your cleverly hidden eggs!
