Carol V.

Just wanted everyone to know that Carol V. informed me via outside Gather source that she is having trouble logging into Gather recently. Not sure if it had anything to do with the "behind the scene" maintenance issues. Probably not.

Nevertheless...she is going to try to logon again tomorrow. She has no clue why she can't get on. Anyone else having trouble? Well I guess if you are, you won't be able to read this message. LOL

Anyone have any suggestions she can try? I will pass them along to her. I hope she will be back soon!

thats weird... has she tried switching browsers??? does she have dial- up? then that may be the problem. i would reset her browser history and empty the cache... that may work...

I am sorry this happened to her. I did one time for some reason I'm not sure why but it drove me crazy.

I had trouble the other day and rebooted and was able to log on, but I'm sure she's done that.

I have, and others, have had this happen time to time. She should be okay tomorrow.
If not, it's a glitch, or they threw her out. She can email to them on another computer, or have a friend of hers find out.

I'd recommend looking at the firewall and seeing if it's blocking certain sites.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. It might have been our connection since EVERYTHING was snail slow last night. Or it was because of his friends standing in front of the wireless router that is in the living room and I was in the spare room at the back of the house.
