I seem to be having either a pole reversal or a bling blang.
At any rate the logic is escaping at a faster rate, probably due to a missing cap on my think tank.
Who would have guessed? Vaporizing brain ~ airy aerie flying mind mystificated conundrums, with kettle drums on the side...
Singing the bones back into whole-i-ness,
singing the bones.

 

 Across the pond where the koi rise shining through dark waters,
the glowing scales catching sunbeams which reflect at angles straight
into the center of my sight,
and another universe opens in that moment.
What is time, then?
No thing, and no nothing,
and a magic wand of reflected light challenging
my assumed
solidity.


 

fishing poles and swimming holes,
skyscrapers and lakes
the all-gendered anysex plays with us
and we mirror
its rise and dive.

Maybe it's not the big bang.
Maybe it's just a wink.

I can't get through the day without at least a little silliness. I have teenagers and i must frequently demonstrate the importance of not taking oneself too seriously.

my wife and i were chattin' 'bout the big bang this evening over a bottle of pinot noir de pays d'oc. Really no kidding.
Up front, I am still an atheist. But she holds out for the "spark" of something beyond.

And laughter - that's what I used most when directing 60 some-odd teens in camp musicals. You stirred up some good memories.

If the first and third stanzas are playful, the second is beautiful and transcendant. I love the thought of you looking through a worm-hole into another universe. (And I'm not entirely convinced that you haven't).
