Dorothy, i could not agree with you more. The conservative party has never really had power in this country. Conservative ideas have never been in control of the house, senate, or the presidency at the same time. Reagan, may have had a small majority in those area's in his first term.
I am not a republican I am a conservative. Reagan was a conservative and had great success as our president. When Reagan took office the financial mess was just as bad as it is today- double digit interest rates, unemployment, and inflation. Capitalism not Obama socialism put this country on the greatest economic boom in it's history, a 17 year run of record financial numbers.
Not to mention the defeat of the "Evil Empire"and the fall of the Berlin Wall. I would like to see in my life time a full conservative slate- house- senate- president, that is what the liberals have now and in 4 weeks have purposely sank this nation into a almost 4 trillion dollar debt.
