2 - 4 - 6 - 8 ... Who do we appreciate???

It has been a while since I have hightlighted a dear member of Gather.  With all the stuff going on in my life, basically it kind of has slipped my mind.  Well...today I would like to honor a member who has worked tirelessly to put forth efforts to get other members of Gather recognized.

Sometimes I have noticed that the very folks who spend all their time on Gather committed to promoting the reputation of others and getting those members to the forefront, are also the very members who tend to get swept under the rug, with very little recognition given back to them in return.

I have often wondered why that is?  You would think that those folks would be at the top of everyone's appreciation list?  I think...  The reason being...is because everyone is so busy fulfilling their requests...that many times no one ever stops to think about doing something for them.

These members are usually  the "motivators and instigators" of community awareness.  They will give and give and give and give to bless others who are in need.  They will work tirelessly to keep the ball rolling, so that no one is left out.  And yet...  Maybe on a rare occasion...someone will come along and give them a little "fanfare"!!!

So with that being said...this member has yet again asked us to go out and show appreciation to those members who have added so much to enrich our lives and give them a little love today.

To me...  What could be more befitting than to choose the very member who was the originator and instigator of this request...  Her name?  ...is Sonia V.

Sonia spends a great deal of her time dedicated to keeping us aware of those members who are in need of our support.  Never asking for anything back in return and quite frankly...I think it's about time she is rewarded for her labor.  I think we need to do as much as we can to view as many of her posts, pics and if you have the time...to add a few comments, letting her know how much she is appreciated!

So...  I would like to do a little initiating myself and make this "Sonia V. Appreciation Week!" Take a few minutes out of your day today...  Heck...  Take a lot!  No...take the whole entire week!  ~ and let's give back to this dear member all that she has given so unselfishly to us!
