One week and Ribbit

Well our first week over here at Gather is coming to an end. I have to say this has been great getting to know you and learning the “ins and outs” of the Gather community. I look forward to the future!

So before this Friday ends I wanted to ask about the BzzAgent Frogpond.

Hundreds of Frogs later I’m wondering what you think of the Frogpond?

What do you like? Dislike?

What can we do to make it better?

And even if you do not use it (or maybe never) I want to hear your thoughts.

And don’t hold back. Your opinion counts! Help make us better!

I really don't use the frogpond very often, but I have found a few interesting sites through it. I don't remember which ones offhand though, lol.

So have you sat down and learned anything about your agents by reviewing their content here on Gather? Just curious.

I have found some great sites in the FrogPond (Gather for example!)
One suggestion I have is when we are submitting sites to be a frog that we can use a search engine to see if the site was already submitted. I don't have time to sort through all of the past frogs to see if my new site find is included.

I have found tons of great sites thru the Frogpond. I love it. I'm not really sure how all of it works, but I often browse thru frogs and submit reviews and polls on them. I have also emailed several of them to friends and family. My mom loves the "howtocleanstuff" frog!

I really should use it more, because every single time I do, I add at least one to my favorites. But, now that you guys are here & on FB, it will remind me to check in more & start earning those honeycombs!
I have not had any problems using the frogpond, I think it has a good layout & pretty simple to navigate.

I like the frogpond, there are a lot of interesting sites I would never have known about. I'd like to see a list of the frogpond sites and then pick out the ones I think may interest me along with the current layout. I'm sure there are some I have missed.

The only problem I have with frogpond is remembering which frogs I have done, if there was a way to hide copleted frogs or mark them as posted to it would be a great help

My only issue with the frogpond is with the agent submitted ones, it's hard to to see a full list of all the ones that have been submitted. Maybe if they were listed alphabetically by name, then we wouldn't submit one that's already been submitted. For instance, I've found a few that have been submitted more than once. I do like the way the others ones are subdivided into categories.

I've found some great sites on there, but my biggest issue has been with submitting. I keep submitting stuff that has apparently been submitted already. I take all the time to type it all up only to find that out afterwards.

Whenever I go to the frogpond I always find something interesting (and usually something that is just what I need at that time). My only problem is I can't wander over too frequently because I spend too much time there. (Not doing my work!!)

I love the Frogpond! I don't use it very often, but when I do . . . . I mean, I found out about the Hooray promotion (the free photobook) and ordered one for my husband for Valentine's Day. It was originally $35, but because of the Bzz promo code I only had to pay $8 in shipping.

Actually, I saw the Gather frog today when I was looking for a website I THINK I found through the frogpond a few weeks ago. My grandmother was asking about online money market interest rates. I SWORE I had found an awesome website that tracks the interest rates for all the banks in the frogpond . . . I HAVE to find it! LOL

I'm so glad you're on Gather now!! This is going to make it so much easier when we review the products we get from you!

I just started using the frog pond, and I love it. I wish I'd done it sooner. There is so much at bzzagent to do and learn that I've had to take it slowly. I'm too new to say much about the pond, but I've really jumped in now that I've found it.

I have a hard time searching on the FrogPond, maybe it's just something I missed on how to maneuver but I can never find one that I want if it is not on the front pages. I have also tried to search before adding my own frog and couldn't find out if it was there. i went through the trouble of adding a frog only to find out it was already there..... bummer

I visit the Frogpond when I have time although I did not find Howtocleanstuff until I read this discussion. I like Hulu, Typeracer, and Livemocha.

The Frogpond has taken me to some great sites that I still use. A couple of suggestions would be to have an easy masterlist of Frogs and maybe a list by user that shows what Frogs you've visited. I think the few times I've submitted Frogs, they've already been submitted and are in use. Also, there are so many Frogs I can't always remember which ones I've been to. On the plus side, I like being able to share the links directly with my friends. I know some of them have checked out the sites and like them as well.

I agree. I have found some great sites through the frogpond. ratilmenot.com is one of my favorite go-to sites. I was just invited to my first Bzz campaign (after bieng a member for several months) hopefully more will come.

I have found some good sites and not so good sites on the frogpond. I wish there was an easier way to search in the frogpond for sites though. And I will admit that I have gotten some surveys about frogpond sites I have reviewed but the survey usually shows up months after I visited the site and I can't remember the details or whether I even visited it without further investigation into refreshing my memory. (obviously the ones I have trouble with are the ones that don't do anything for me).

I have found some good sites in the frogpond and some not so good sites. I like that you can pick and choose which frogs you'd like to participate in.
