I found a great new healthy snack that I had to share with you all! When I was a kid my mom used to fix me cinnamon toast, and I loved it. She would toast the bread, slather on the butter, and then add cinnamon and sugar. I wondered if I could come up with a low calorie version that tasted just as good, and I did.
First of all, I use Sara Lee's 45 and delightful wheat bread. I normally don't like wheat bread, but this is good and each slice has only 45 calories which is fantastic! It's also high in fiber which is good. I toasted a slice in the toaster. Then, I didn't use any butter but sprinkled a good amount of ground cinnamon on the bread. (How much is up to your taste buds.) Then, I decided to try putting on some Splenda instead of regular sugar. I used about half a packet on the piece of bread. That was it.
It was so good that my mouth is watering now just thinking about it! Cinnamon is supposed to be really good for you too. This is something you really need to try!

I hear they trigger migraines and other not so good things.
Cinnamon is good for you.
Thanks for the suggestion. And about the bread, especially thanks.
