North Carolina License Plate Change

Well for all who live in NC already know recently we had got a change of our license plate look. But for those who don’t we changed our plates from the blue numbered as below to the red lettering below that… I myself liked the blue better, stood out more to me……………. Do you like your license tag look in your state???

What was their reason for changing colors?
I live in Florida where we have a choice of like 20 different license plates to choose from. I have a regular one. Only because when I moved down here I did not realize just how much they cost compared to Ohio for first time tags. I thought about switching up. But haven't. I thought about getting the special disabled plates for my van.

well we have specialty tags but as far as just default tags for the state these are it and i have no earthy idea why changed it.. supposedly better to see but not to me
