Job Suggestion for: President Obama's Work Project
February 26, 2009 by Gordon L. Swanson
Letter to Local administrators
This may be your chance of a lifetime. Your existing staff can become the nucleus for a new work program for your area. Now that unemployed workers are available, you can organize the fire prevention program you have needed but never could attempt, due to lack of labor and money. The money is available with the government's recovery funds to provide jobs for unemployed people. The people are waiting outside your office wanting work. Your engineers and planners are starving for real action with a challenge. The go ahead from you will start this lifetime project rolling and make your area grow beyond comprehension.
The result will be elimination of most unemployed including those that gave up and are now on the streets causing crime problems. A safer, cleaner living area with less fire problems and destruction of your area at high cost, and danger to your citizens. Renewed businesses fueled from all the money that will be made and spent. by the new workers. They will have learned new skills that will maintain your area's life when the government starts their large education and construction programs. There is no stop, as you will be well started on preparing your people to begin their trip to Mars and beyond. One warning is that this national program can be so large that you will have to expand your entire area to control it. I would consider this would be a nice problem to have, and it is just waiting for all you administrators to push the go button. The one that waits may be left behind so jump on and hold tight for the ride of a lifetime...
This letter is just a brief on how a simple program can help solve a very large problem. I would be willing to discuss this in depth with anyone that wants more information to put things into action. : http//www.disastermanager@comcast.net.

Thanks for sharing.
I believe such things as you propose here would indeed, be valid uses of the funds available.
