I decided to make Zatarain's Creole Mustard Potato Salad last night after all this Mardi Gras talk and it was the most delicious potato salad I think I have ever had!!! I am not kidding. My husband who is sick liked it and said it tasted better than the regular American yellow potato salad and I would agree 100%! It's like a BLT in a bowl and it is SOOOOO delicious!!!! Now I understand why Karen H. said the following:

OMG!!!! as I promised I would share my review with you this stuff is awesome stop what your doing right now and go to the store if you a potato salad eater you must make and eat this I am not joking I have had like 6 people ask me for the recipe already it has just the right amount of zip to it this recipe is going in my favorites box." |
It really is that good! And one of the easiest dishes to make! My only advice is that unless you can't have bacon or don't like bacon...it should not be an optional ingredient and it's imperative to let it sit in the fridge for a few hours to let the flavors gel together otherwise it wont taste as good.
Anyway, I highly recommend making this salad. I have finally found a signature dish I am bringing to my next party or potluck!

We are going to smoke a brisket this weekend and make some slaw and baked beans, and potato salad, so I might have to use this recipe for my potato salad instead of the regular mustard potato salad I was going to make.
