Gather Troubles

I don't know what it is lately, but I've been having Gather problems.  I'll get to the point where Gather won't let me do anything.  I have to close IE and restart it up again and Gather is fine.  Then more often lately I'll get to the point where I can't see any pictures on here.  Once again I close IE and open it up again and it's fine.  This used to happen before, but not this often.  Anyone else having these problems?

I haven't had problems with pics, only groups.
And, they have since been resolved.
I hope you find the help you are looking for.

I'm not experiencing it now, but I've had it happen in the past. I waited it out and it fixed itself

I use firefox and haven't had any issues.

Sorry to hear you are having troubles. Mariana also could be right. The upgrade might fix it.

I had so many problems with IE I gave up using it all together. I don't have too many issues with Firefox or Safari, you may want to try downloading them and switching.

I am having trouble loading gather pages. I use chrome (the google browser), and it says the problem is with the google analytic (ads).

I was having problems with IE so I downloaded Firefox now I'm not having any problems.

I have some troubles at times too. That's whan I launch Firefox cause it seems to be a coding issue with IE. I'm blaming it on the animated ads.

I never Gather on I.E. anymore. I only do it on Firefox. So far so good.

I was having a similar problem but I started using Firefox and now I don't have any issues.

No problems here, but I use firefox. I used to use IE with gather, but it just gave me too much troubles.

Well, Sarah, it looks like most people running IE have switched to Firefox- at least for Gather. I only use Firefox on my Mac, and I've never had any of these issues IE users have had.

The only problem I've had is that what I'm reading is sometimes slow to load. I use firefox, too. (I have a mac, too.)

I would agree with all the others who recommend Firefox. It seems to be the best alternative, although some upgrades may experience occasional glitches which usually are worked out in time.

Gather loads a lot of stuff in youe internet browser cache, you need to clean it out often.

Looks like the problem is with IE, not gather. Try restarting your computer and run some maintenance programs like defrag, and disk check. You can find those under start--programs--accessories--system tools--or a similar path. You can also right click your computer icon, then click properties then click tools.

I use Fire Fox, and I empty my cache, cookies, and all that other stuff every night! I've never had any problems with Gather. Hope you get it figured out!
