According to wingnuts these days, both of your parents have to be citizens of the US in addition to the person being born in the US for one to be Natural Born.
Of course that's completely false. Natural Born is attributed to anyone being born in the US, regardless of the citizenship of the parents at the time of birth.
Or no? Do wingnuts know that BOTH parents of Bobby Jindal were citizens of India residing on the US on a visa when he was born? No, wingnuts don't know that, they are ignorant. That's why they keep on talking about Obama whose mom was I don't know how many generation removed, an American Citizen.
Do wingnuts know Colin Powell, whom they say they would have voted for way back then (of course they are lying), is a son of TWO Jamaican citizens?
Do wingnuts know that George Romney, father of Mitt Romney, was born in Mexico?
Look for wingnuts to challenge Piyush "Bobby" Jindal Natural Born Citizenship during the GOP primaries. Unless they are the hypocrites we know they are.

If you are born in the US but then move away and your parents move away and didnt live in the US for 5 years between the years of 1962 and 1963 automatically excludes you from citizenship.
And if your parents decide to renounce your citizenship when you are 2. You are also SOL.
If Jindal was born here, as the 14th Amendment is currently interpreted, he is a US citizen unless his parents decide not to accept it. Most parents obviously do but not all.
As for the Obama thing, you're right in that its a) a moot point at this time and b) his mom did apply for his citizenship. He should have just took the heat out of the entire issue though by putting his birth certificate out to be verified, I don't understand why he didn't. Compared to all the other stuff political candidates have to put out for public viewing, that was pretty minor.
Wingnuts interpretation disqualifies Jindal. I hope they keep on pushing it and pushing Jindal at the same time. Democrats are waiting quietly until Jindal is their man. Then payback time.

I think I get it, Bobby Jindal, Governor of Louisiana COULD run for President of the USA. And after his speech last night, he just might IF the GOP nominates him. But if his constituent base is to be the Republican Party, I think that is unlikely. But, after Michael Steele was selected to lead the RNC anything is possible.
