what i read is that she's 20 years old, making her 102 in human years . . . i think the oldest lived to 29

My mistake Casey, lol. I was rushing around this afternoon and this wasn't the first mistake I've made today. 20 years would make the dog 140 in human years, now wouldn't it? :) Don't know where I got that first one, lol. Probably off of the camera book I was reading, or the instructions on the antenna I was trying to put together. You get my drift, I had to much going on today for sure.

I know horses who can keep going strong at 20, but, wow, a dog is pretty incredible. Honestly, I've known people who've had cats at least that old. Their owners take them into the vet whenever they have a problem and that keeps them living longer. In the past, whenever a pet had a serious problem like kidney failure or cancer, they were immediately put to sleep. Now, there are new treatments that can extend their lives.

I've had two dogs that lived to be 18. One is rare, but two was very unusual and cool to have them for so long.
