Where is Spring

Where can Spring be,

Why does she hide her face?

Why does she avoid me?

I know she's some place.

Is it that she's shy?

Does she have nothing to say?

Or have I made her cry?

Have I made her go away?

I look and look,

This way and that.

I search every nook,

To find where she's at.

She eludes my searching eye,

So icy tears is what I cry.

Please Spring come show your face.

The Bitter cold could you replace?
