Watching my grand kids play...

Today was a great day. I went to my sons house to see my grand kids. They are so much fun. As my son played on the floor with his babies I had to smile. I remember his father playing on the floor with him and his brother. It seems like that was just yesterday. My daughter in law made a comment about her annoying kids. I had to tell her "Enjoy this it will be gone before you know it."  My son found this a good time to remind me of his upcoming birthday. He will be 30. Oh my God! When did that happen? Wasn't it just last week that he graduated?  My younger son is 28. He now is going to have a child. Time flies when you least expect it

My parents are getting ready to be grandparents for the first time (My older brother is going to be a father soon), and I know that they feel the same way about us kids. It is hard to believe that I will be an aunt and that my brother will be a father...it does go by fast.

It must be an awesome feeling to see your grandkids playing, and having them remind you of your kids. I'm looking forward to seeing that someday a ways in the future.
