I've worked hard to gain weight...although it's my birth control shot accountable for most of the weigh gain.

Mariana, I'm thinking a long time, although I really am eating healthier, it's just not coming off as quickly as I'd hoped. This shot was at a cousins wedding, and I am so glad I came across it! We look so in love. We were so in love. We are so in love. Woohoo for love! Marsha, I wish I had to work to gain weight, it finds me some how! Netty, maybe that's how you will be dancing tonight after your gifts!

Chris L. I don't know how much you feel you need to take off - do you feel ok? How's your health??? Seriously, buy another black dress a couple sizes up - that's fine - some of us aren't going to ever be size 6's again. I was always small but age and good wine - well, no excuses - but hey I lost 5 pounds by just not drinking wine.

Is there something that you need to give up??? I just want to get an idea of how to help you. Salud

Hey Mariana, I am now a size 12. That dress is an 8. I don't hold any illusions that I will fit into a size 4 again! I'll take the 8. I think that I need to lose 40 lbs. I started this diet at 181 and am now 167. I was weak this weekend, the kids wanted crab cakes and buffalo wings, but for dinner on Suday I had 1 crab cake (110 calories) and 2 wings. Much better than what I would have done 3 months ago! My health is good, the nice weather is coming and I'll be able to be outside again and active. Without Doritos!!! Always gotta work that one it! I'll get there. I'm averaging 2 lbs a week, so thats good. I enjoy a couple of beers on the weekend, and I know I need to give that up, just not ready. I will be. I was always small, until my 20's, like I said, I used to be the small one, didn't like food! Now I do! Thanks Mariana, you are a great inspiration and a wonderful person, good heart!

My motivation to lose weight is the fact that my inlaws are taking the whole family on a cruise in July. It will be my first cruise ever and I am super excited about it. I want to be in better shape when we go so I will be able to keep up with everyone else and so I don't look like a cow next to my skinny pretty sister in law

Thank you Chris L. appreciate the compliment. I was once a tiny little 4 - depends on who the designer is - some of those little four's are bigger than others - lol...I'm 5'2 and now weigh 143.5. My overall goal is 130 - and toned, flexible, and feeling great...when I turn 60 in May I want to shine!!! We'll see - if I make it to 138 in one month, it will take work for me. I had two beers in a month and NO Wine...lol...so that's why I lost 5 pounds -
Keep up the very good work - you have lost lots of weight - and your attitude is what counts - why be an unhappy but thin mama? You're doing great! SAlud

This is great Chris!!! You can do it....we all can!! I know I will never be a size 4....that is an illusion!! That is OK though.......if I were a size 4 I would never have any 'pleasures' because I would so afraid of gaining one pound if I ate anything. I want to be healthy and loose a few pounds but I do want to 'reward' myself too!!!!

Keep that little black dress where you can see it...........before you know it, YOU will be in it again!!!!!
