BzzAgent Mail Call: Pledge Fabric Sweeper for Pet Hair

Today in the mail I recieved my Bzz Kit containing the Pledge Fabric Sweeper for Pet Hair. The basic idea for this product is to replace the traditional lint roller or balled up tape to clean up pet hair on furniture or clothes.

You simply roll the Fabric Sweeper back and forth across the fabric and it picks up the pet hair and collects it in a dome on top. If the rollers get hair stuck to them between cleanings, simply rub the Fabric Sweeper back and forth on the fabric to clean. When you have filled the domed top, simply throw the Sweeper away.

The Fabric Sweeper is supposed to last you about 3 to 5 weeks with daily use. It is made from recycled materials so it is good for the environment. (I am not sure if you can recycle it again or not, but I would put it in my plastics bin after opening it to dump out the hair.)

It is easy to hold. It fit nicely into my hand while I was trying it out. It is available at mass retailers (Wal-Mart, Kmart, Target, etc.) so it is readily available to you.

I personally tried it out on my bed as I have both a cat and dog that love to lay on there. It works really well. Just remember to take short strokes back and forth or it won't work as well. My dog is a coonhound so he has rather coarse hair and it picked it up easily. It took a little longer on my bed than normal because of the type of bedspread I have. It is pretty lumpy and fluffy, but worked well on my other furniture.
