I missed a couple of days reporting for various reasons. Still kept writing, though.
I'm now over 19000 words in six days, so on a good average - really more than I thought possible at the outset. And for the most part, the words seem to be fine. They are telling the story of the four string players - all female - centered around on, a violinist, and her journey through life.
The summer between 6th and 7th grace she lost her elder sister to leukemia; five years later her dad, who was very hurt and became evil after the loss of his first-born, ran away and has not been seen since, and her mother died of a heart attack while she was a jr in college.
Since that time she's been concentrating on her playing - her sister made her promise to keep playing the violin, even though our heroine already loved the instrument, and making music.
But there is a dark secret in her past that haunts her, and causes her to hunt for answers in the wrong places by using the wrong manners.
What's next?
Can't tell you yet - the story is writing itself in my heart and mind, and I just put the words on the page, one scribble at a time.
Hope I'll be able to decode all of it into the computer....

Six days isn't much of a commitment - but I'm staying at it, one day at a time, and one word at a time.
Beth - if you're going to write - just get going. Sometimes the hardest part might be opening the journal, picking up a pen and writing the first word. Do it!
Thanks again to all! Love, Dale

I don't think so, but know how you feel for certain.
