first - to the post office (about 1/2 mile away up and down hills)
then - around the mall - there used to be freebie magazines. I hate to eat without reading. I had to go to CVS - bought Discover. I ate some Mexican food - can't resist temptation.
coming back from the mall, I passed a pick up truck loaded with branches - of orange trees - with oranges! I snagged two! then I took a side trip:
last - Ruffin Canyon open space. Note the word CANYON. I stayed in the flat areas, and did not venture far. Even a 100 or so feet into the wild area there were many more bird calls - even though there's a middle school on one side and homes on the other. I caught some movement out of the corner of my eye - a bunny hopping along.
Maybe if I were with someone, I'd try to go further. I did spend at least 15 minutes wandering around looking at flora and fauna.
Oh- it's in the upper 60s with hazy sunshine.
