I got this recipe from my friend, Pat, so of course we always call them "Pat's Green Beans."
PAT'S GREEN BEANS
Wash and cut ends off fresh green beans. I usually buy a sack full!
Blanch in boiling water for 1-1/2 min. Plunge immediately into ice water.
In large saute pan, melt butter or margarine. Start with 2 Tbsp. Add 1 tsp. crushed garlic and soy sauce to taste. (I use garlic in jar - not as strong & easier to digest). Saute beans in soy/garlic mixture. I served these beans with Ham & Cheese Stuffed Potatoes.
