My Mom just left to go home. UPDATE on surgery.

My mom has been here since sunday afternoon because of her surgery.  My brother drove up this morning to pick her up and take her back home.  They left about 10 minutes ago.

She's a little slow and can't walk all that fast.  But other than that, she's doing great!  She's in minimal pain and was able to sleep all night long last night, she was thrilled about that.

I know that being around the kids helped make her feel better.  :)

When I read the title of your post I thought the worse had happened. Whew, glad that wasn't the case. I'm sure the kids will make her feel better with their smiles and all the help she can possibly want.

I am glad to hear your mother stayed a little longer. She needs her rest.
I'm glad you talked her intp staying there, but I'm sure, too, that's she's glad to be going home to her own things!
