I have an obsession with paper. I even found a way to decorate things with little tiny strips of it. So when I discovered Greenfield Paper I just had to find some reason to buy something from them, more specifically I wanted some of their paper with seeds embedded in it. This so neatly combined two of my obsessions – paper and growing things.
I am very frugal at heart and so could not justify spending money on this product just because I wanted to hold it in my hands, I had to find a purpose for it. It took a little while but I figured out what I could use it for – Christmas cards. So this year a very select few (they weren’t cheap cards) got cards for Christmas this year that come spring they could plant and enjoy though the summer.
I of course kept one for myself.
The company offers so much more than seed embedded greeting cards. They have tree free paper including a kind made of recycled blue jeans. They do paper made of recycled junk mail. They have sketch books and stationary and wrapping paper. All in all a very cool website.

I am going to check out the site and save it to my favorites.
I have SOOO much. I like to keep it for crafts and found one use- twisting up a couple pieces of paper and tying them up with another twisted up piece to make paper "logs" for fires. But otherwise I am out of creative ideas.
I'd love to have a paper shredder. Not in our budget just yet but eventually I'm getting one! Then I wouldn't have to buy anymore shred or tissue paper for gifts.
And there is always papier mache.
