Yesterday brought some BIG progress on the Amanda Palmer project. I'm FINALLY seeing some sort of REAL looks from her.
The last blog mentioned that I had an idea to grab the face texture files and work with those, and I did that... and the difference in appearance is astounding!
Here's how "Amanda" looks added to the Poser 7 SYDNEY figure:

The hair is still subject to change, but it's very similar to the one she has on the back of Who Killed Amanda Palmer, so we'll see.
I also located a site of Amanda in a red and black corset. This is exciting as I have one VERY similar to that in Poser... only I cannot get it to fit without deforming the bodies of the figures. There's poke throughs on the sides, breasts and more. :( I'm working on an idea for it, but it might not work. For now I'm pretty happy with how this is looking for now.
Here's a shot of my renders and the figure displayed with the corset as well as a shot of Amanda and a fan in HER red and black corset. Very similar!
Getting there... slowly but surely.
