~~~new Dog~~~~~

sorry for not being on here all day, i drove to our local shelter 4 times today... things were crazy...

as some of you know we were thinking about adopting another dog, so finally today i went to look at the one we had liked when we browsed the shelters website, when we got to the shelter we walked in there and they had so many dogs it was unbelievable, the staff told me over the year they take in 30 000 dogs!!!!

I also got to take a look at those poor roosters that were rescued from a cock - fighting ring. 

Well when we finally found buddy and got to take him out the lady working at the shelter asked us all kinds of questions about our situation, including if we had other pets... well turns out Buddy does not like other dogs.... when the shelter takes dogs in they have to pass a test if they have food aggression, dog aggression or if they show any signs of bad behavior, well and buddy must have failed this one.

So i go back home......... to make the long story short, while i was on my way home hubby browsed the website again, finding another one that he liked ..... this one was only 2 month old.... so when i get home, he shows me the one, i call the shelter, they said we could have him today, but he was in surgery right now, so i drive back pay and sign all those papers, then drive back home.... wait 3 hours go back to the shelter and pick up our new friend.

Our Dog was sooooooooooooooooooooo happy and she wanted to play with the little one all crazy, oh boy they are a handful hopefully they will slow down a little and get used to each other fast. tomorrow i will post a picture of the new one...

i was out until 11pm trying to find a crate for the dog... but Walmart did not have any in stock...
