I remember being by tortured by my mother as a child. Her preferred method? The french braid. I would sit as she tediously carved lines into my hair. It had to be perfect you know! Well, I suppose it is my motherly duty to inflict this same torture upon my own daughter, now that her hair is long enough to accomodate said atrocity.
Ok, so maybe I didn't torture her but I did throw her hair into a loose french braid the other night simply because I realized I could. She loved it and made me add all the bows she could find. Isn't she just a doll?
All bows!

My beautiful girl!

She is a doll!
My daughter may be glad I never learned how to french braid. She always hated having her hair brushed or combed when small.
Nancy, I remember those curlers too! I would beg my mom for curlers! I hated sleeping on them though.
Thanks for posting to Kids and Grandkids.
