WorldNet Daily cites strong evidence that some government agencies are stockpiling huge amounts of canned food.
Jim Randas, former U.S. Intelligence officer, appeared on ABC telling Americans to start stockpiling food.
Grocery store prices are rising faster than any time in U.S. history.
Worldwide grain stocks are dropping precipitously as bio-fuels consume inventories... and on and on and on.
You don't have to be an Old Testament prophet to see what's going on all around us.

that God will provide. HE always does =)
Not in my area. Prices are dropping here and I have been spending much less lately.
I think the government likes to instill fear in people. If they say there is going to be a food shortage what is going to happen? People will go out and spend more money on food. Isn't that what the government wants us to do now? After all we are in a recession and when people spend that only helps the situation.
Everyone should stockpile in the best of times. Food, ammunition, bleach for water, medicines, windup radio etc, being prepared for anything is common sense.
If there are food shortages, the last place they will be is in the U.S.
Gave you a 10.
I feel perhaps I feel at ease now as I am living in an area where there are nieborhoods that are close by in times of need.we all look after our comunity.
I have been rather ill as of late and on both sides I had nieghbors checking on me as they hadn't seen me out and about.
I have to agree with that, wholeheartedly. If we had more room we'd be buying more - things that are on sale and various other staples. Being that we live in a two room apartment, no pantry, nothing, there's not a lot we can do about it. We do stock up on what we can, as we will use it and I make all of our spaghetti sauce and freeze it, so I have it until the next summer when I can again plant tomatoes and peppers and such. (in a very small area, but they do produce well)
Now if there were only more money..... if anyone's noticed, once something goes up, does it ever go down? Nope.
