I just read a post that had some "comedian" put up a cartoon showing two white cops shooting an ape. One of the cops said that they should find someone else to pass the stimulus bill. I don't think this cartoon has any humor to it (unless you're sick in the head). I'm troubled by all of these suggestions to committ violence upon our Commander-in-Chief.
During the Democratic National Convention, three methed-out, white supremacists arrested in Denver. Two skinheads were caught two months later. Why are so many Americans wanting President Obama killed?
I don't want to hear that "People don't like his policies. He's a liar. Blah, blah, blah." Those excuses are a load of crap! Over 66% of registered voters chose him over John McCain. He just started his presidency on January 20th. What has he done to sink our country into an abyss?
It took Hurricane Katrina, the Iraq war and the recession for people to turn on Bush. We're in a trillion-dollar debt. Obama did nothing to cause this and people are lining up to blow his head off!
I blame ultra-Conservatives, angry Republicans, the media, racist organizations and anti-government militia for stirring this. I also blame ridiculous, African-Americans fooled by their perks from selling out our race! You know the ones that Bill "O'Reilly Auto Parts" pimps out on the Fox channel. On the O'Reilly "No Spin Zone" Factor, he spins his lies so much, his mouth might as well be a ride at Six Flags!
Here's my opinion. If people hate Obama, multiculturalism and the direction of our country, "Get the hell out of here!" You're not Americans! You're traitors to the Constitution and the Flag! ALL MEN (AND WOMEN) ARE CREATED EQUAL. It didn't mean white racists are above everyone else. If you want to be bigots, join Sam Bowers who's serving life in an Alabama pentitenary. He and his prison lover would be happy to invite you to "Group Shower Night".
As far as the ones arrested for plotting to kill our president, treason does get you the death penalty, right?

It doesn't surprise me that you'd spin the blame on minorities and poor whites. Are you sure that Wisconsin isn't getting any of Canada's air pollution? I'm concerned. You've been coming up with some assinine theories lately. See a doctor.
As far as the cartoon, I saw it and admit it was in bad taste. My previous opinion was wrong and uninformed so for that I apologize. Although I don't think it implied that somebody wanted Obama dead, I can't believe something like that could get published.
The problem is this: The caption stated "They'll have to find someone else to write the next stimulus bill." which differs from the caption you stated accompanied the cartoon. Obama PASSED the bill but he certainly didn't WRITE it so the dead chimp in the cartoon wasn't even Obama. My last post has images comparing Obama, among others, to a chimp too but it wasn't racist and it was in good taste.
I've been called a "porch monkey" before. And, Al Sharpton wasn't putting another race on the microphone during that insult. Instead of making excuses, as some white folks do to their detriment, call a spade a spade. Don't attack Sharpton because he didn't create the cartoon. Let the Tawna Brawley issue in 1988 die. You keep rehashing and rehashing it. It's old and tired. And why do you want to compare Obama to a chimp? Should I compare you to a man in trailer park who eats mayonnaise sandwiches?

I'm as sick and tired of being politically correct as anyone. Racism shouldn't be branded to anything that's either off-color, poorly interpreted or misinterpreted. To say the "n" word in derogatory fashion to an African-American is considered racist. That's point-blank. To make cookies depicting black people looking drunk is comedy in poor taste. But, to call those cookies "drunken Negro cookies" is racist. African-Americans aren't referred to as Negroes anymore. That occurred at a time when black people weren't considered as first-class citizens.
To call a white person a "honkey", "cracker" or "peckerwood" is racist. But, to say "that silly, white boy" is comedy with poor taste. If people would just think more before publishing material like this and how it could be interpreted, maybe racism will ease out of the American mainstream. I'm just disappointed that how all of this garbage comes about after we elect a biracial president. As Americans, we should be ashamed of ourselves.
