Two of these versions I really like. Cher's version was not even in the running on this one for me. When it came down to it I just prefer Richie Mcdonald's voice a little more so my vote goes to Lonestar.

I started playing Lonestar and thought I hit the wrong button and Cher started singing. I've never heard them before, but they weren't bad. I'd place them in the middle. Actually Eli Mattson, who came in second this past season on America's got Talent, did a good job on this song as his original audition appearance. I not ticking off thousands of fags and drag queens, so I'm picking Cher as my favorite. She is Cher, after all. Marc Cohn and the original come in last. Everybody takes his song and does it better than he does.

I have always liked this song,but the only version I am familiar with is Lonestar's, and I do like the way they sing it. That being said, I love Marc Cohn's voice and Cher's for her sultry, sexy huskiness so, they both are tied in second for me.
