I went to CVS this morning after dropping the kids off at school (boy, was it nice to be able to drive!). I was going to check the prices of vitamins, but I found a good sale, so I started buying.
Most of the items I needed were buy 1 get 1 free, or buy 1 get 1 for a penny. I picked up 2 110 count Fish Oil packs, 2 100 count Vitamin B-Complex w/Vitamin C packs, 2 100 count Magnesium packs, and 1 100 Centrum Complete for Kids pack (that was only one not on sale).
The Centrum was the only one with Zinc in it. The Flintstone type only had 5%, where as Centrum has 35%.
I also grabbed a bag of Valentine's Candy (skittles & starbursts) for 50% off, and a 7 day weekly pill container for his daily pills.
Before I went up to the counter, I swiped my card at the coupon machine and got a $5 off $15, and $5 off $30 coupons, so I was happy with that. All in all, I got 7 packs of vitamins (2 types were $9.99, 1 was $7.99, and 1 was $2.99), 1 pill sorter, and a bag of candy for the Easter Egg hunt for only $32 something. I about had a heart attack after it first rang up, because it hadn't discounted from the card yet, even though it was swiped. I thought it had!
I'm going to have him start the vitamins tonight, and hopefully, along with his meds, he'll be doing much better.

we don't have a CVS
I love my midwife--I told her I was almost out of the sample prenatal vitamins, and I thought she was going to write me a prescription...instead she came back with several more packs to get me through until my next appointment! yay!
TWIC!!!
