WARNING, WARNING, WARNING! DANGER, DANGER, DANGER! IF YOU ARE EASILLY OFFENDED, PLEASE DO NOT READ THIS!
I had a discussion with my therapist last week. I don't know how the subject came up but we started to discuss President Obama. What ticked me off is the fact that she ASSUMED (remember that saying about NOT assuming?) because I am black that I voted for, and love President Obama!
WRONG! WRONG! WRONG! Yes, I am black, but I do not love President Obama. I think he is a fake, phoney and fraud and it will be a matter of time when we see his true colors. I believe he is taking this country in the WRONG direction just because he has the power to do it. By the time this country wakes up from the overall love affair they have with him, it will be too late. I pray for my beloved country!
I'm not saying a black man shouldn't be President. I just don't think it should have been Obama. There were other more deserving and qualified candidates who were overlooked because of their political viewpoints. Pity.
I'll end by quoting Etta James (who originally sang "At Last"). I didn't vote for him, and he's not my President." Enough said.

I am on the other side of your problem. I was told I was a racist many times because I would not vot for Obama. So many of us were. Any other point we made against him was pushed aside... if we didn't vote for him it was plain and simple, we were racist.
In most cases, with most people it was so very not true.
Take me for instance, I have friends of all races, religions, and creeds. I am an independant who looks at the issues not the political party, and then decides which candidate deserves my vote.
Michael Steele is African American. He would have made an AWESOME president. I would have voted for him in a heartbeat. He is not all pretty show like Obama, but he has a good head on his shoulders, good ideas and strong integrity.
Thanks for sharing YOUR SIDE... I know other African American's who feel the same way you do.
I join you in praying for our country. Let's hope by the time America wakes up, it's not too late to save us.
And the thing is, whether you voted for him or not, he's still your president. That's how it works in America, your beloved country, the one you claim to love so dearly.
So feel free to disagree with, criticize, or hate Obama, but to simply write him off as if he does not hold the power you didn't want him to have, does a grave disservice to our democracy.
I know exactly what you mean.....
I am a big Alan Keyes fan......
I really think he would've been a much better choice......
but he's a conservative...........
but they didn't realize who has been in control for over 40 years......
