Professor Joseph Olson of Hemline University School of Law, St. Paul , Minnesota, points out some interesting facts concerning the Presidential election:
- Number of States won
- by: Democrats: 19 Republicans: 29
- Square miles of land won
- by: Democrats: 580,000 Republicans: 2,427,000
- Population of counties won
- by: Democrats: 127 million Republicans: 143 million
- Murder rate per 100,000 residents in counties won
- by: Democrats: 13.2 Republicans: 2.1
Professor Olson adds: "In aggregate, the map of the territory Republican won was mostly the land owned by the taxpaying citizens of the country. Democrat territory mostly encompassed those citizens living in government-owned tenements and living off various forms of government welfare..."
Olson believes the United States is now somewhere between the "complacency and apathy" phase of Professor Tyler's definition of democracy, with some forty percent of the nation's population already having reached the "governmental dependency" phase.
If Congress grants amnesty and citizenship to twenty million criminal invaders called illegal's and they vote, then we can say goodbye to the USA in fewer than five years. If you are in favor of this, then by all means, delete this message.
If you are not, then pass this along to help everyone realize just how much is at stake, knowing that apathy is the greatest danger to our freedom.

Without doing some research, I cannot dispute your statistics even though I have reason to doubt them. But that's not important, how many square miles of land actually cast a vote in the election? And how many sagebrush on that land voted Republican? Meaningless.
But when you say that the areas who voted Democrat are all lazy welfare people living in government tenements, You are really turning the entire thing into a work of classic right wing fiction. But please, desist from insulting millions of hard working, tax paying American citizens just as worthy as you!
I'll brighten your day with the comment that there is no way in hell that congress is about to give all the illegals amnesty and make them citizens. Just ain't gonna happen. However, criminal invaders have been coming into this country since before the nation was founded. The Indians owned it and you can see what the criminal invaders produced! I guess that the Indians should have guarded their borders much better.

Appreciate your comment! I would point out that whatever the Democrats in this matter do, they learned it from the experts, Republicans. The "having more mouths to feed" and "think they can borrow or print money forever" were heavily used in the preceding administration. Did you express your righteous indignation about that? If you did, then I'll congratulate you for your consistency!
Obviously, you meant this sarcastically, which is OK, it's your opinion, you're entitled to it, and entitled to express it. You might consider though, that regardless of how wealthy or insured you may be now, especially in these uncertain times, that situation could change.
You might find yourself (or friends or relatives) NEEDING that universal health care someday. None of us can ever really be completely secure. We could get in a car accident
this week, and be paralyzed from the neck down. Terrible thought and scary, but it hits home to what preparation we really all need to have.
