Danny Gokey Brings House Down on American Idol with Hero by Mariah Carey

The only sure thing so far this season is that Danny Gokey will make it to the top 12 on American Idol. He did an amazing job with Hero by Mariah Carey and it's no surprise that the producers had him close out the show. He was the only performer who really stood out tonight. He nailed it regardless what Simon said.

Tatiana is still a bit of a mystery but she's great television and the judges will probably want to keep her around for a while. My predictions for the top three are:

Danny Gokey (top male)

Alexis Grace (top female)

Ricky Braddy (third place)

I think that Anoop and Tatiana (I don't know why) are potential wild card candidates later on.

I normally don't watch American Idol. I did tonight though and I gotta tell ya, I loved him! :) He was the only one that I thought could go all the way. :)
