I didn't pay much attention to Ricky Braddy during the auditions but he had an awesome performance tonight on American Idol. I agree with all of the judges that it was a great performance. I think he has the potential to get even better if he makes it through to the top 12. I thought he was much better than Jackie Tohn. She's definitely a strong performer but I don't think her vocals were good enough to get her into the next round. All in all, it's a strong start for the first round of audience voting. I'm sure there are some surprises yet to come and some career sinking song choices in the next couple of hours. Stay tuned.....
