Hi All,
I wanted to say sorry that I am so behind on comments and e-mails. I had a gall bladder attack is what the doctor's say. I had been having some stomach problems off and on and kind of ignored them. It got very bad a couple of weeks ago and my husband took me to the emergency room. I was given Demerol and was out of it for a couple of days. After several tests it was decided I had gall bladder disease and I should have it removed. After more x-rays, an ultrasound and another round of bloodwork, as all Doctors seem to want to have their share, I guess I will be having outpatient surgery in a couple weeks, pending the Doctor's schedule. They say it is relatively easy and I shouldn't have any problems. The gall bladder is not infected at this time but it hurts if I eat too much fat. I am on a low fat diet, which is good for my weight but not good for my blood sugar. I have been doing what I need to do to get by and have not been on the computer.
The good news is that during that time I found out that I won a sweepstakes I entered. The prize was a Canon EOS Rebel XS 10 megapixel digital Camera with one lens and an 8 GB high speed memory card. Am I in heaven!!!! This is one thing we had been dreaming about but was not in the budget. We have the Canon EOS Rebel 35 mm with 2 different lens already and the lens fit this digital. I spent a week in bed trying to figure out the different features. I will have to post some pictures soon. My husband is in love. Now no more developing tons of rolls of film and getting only 5 or 6 good pictures!!!! I will only develop the ones I want.

I had problems with my gallbladder about 1 1/2 yrs ago - the doctor told me that I had too many gallstones to count. They took it out and the surgery wasn't so bad. I know that some people have problems eating certain foods, but I haven't had that problem. Good luck!
Congrats on your win! That's fantastic! I know that you've been wanting that camera! I have the xsi, it's awesome! I'm starting to learn the features but it's been a lot of trial and error. If you have any questions, let me know! I think that the models are pretty similar.

Mine was pretty messed up and I had issues with my pancreas from it, so the surgery was bad.
I'm glad yours is going to be removed before it's dangerous.
I hate darvocet. It does nothing for pain for me. I refuse it when they offer.
