Not Around Today

Well, I wrote an article about how I'm eating better earlier.  Perhaps my mother should take a lesson.  I have been at the emergency room and running around most of the day.  It seems whenever I think I have time to spend a day on Gather something happens.

Today I was minding my own business, laying down for a nap when my mother had some problems.  Because my car is in the shop I had to call the ambulance.  I couldn't have carried her out to the car anyway so I needed the guys from the ambulance crew.  Our volunteers rock and they got her to the hospital nice and safe.  My neighbor saw the EMT truck pull up and offered me a ride to the hospital. 

I tried to call the shop to see if he could rush my car, maybe do the gas tank and let the rest go until I find out what is going on with my mom, but I could not get a hold of him.  My neighbor has graciously lent me her car since she had no plans tonight.  It's 7:30 now and I still do not know whether they are admitting her or not.  They keep ordering more tests.  When I left they were feeding her cocktails for a CAT scan.

I stopped home to eat and grab a few minutes to myself. So if you don't see me for a while, that why.

For those in my group, I will try to keep the group cleaned out, but I can't make any guarantees.  I will catch up on the content when things settle down.
