Today is free clothing day. I cleaned out my clostet and little Brandon's. Spring and summer clothes we are we are switching to today! Alot of pepole to to drop off thier winter clothes,lol. Sprind soon!
How nice of you.............that's a great idea...you make room in your closet for the spring & summer things and others benefit from your winter clothing.
I WISH someone around us did that. Although Spring won't be here for us for awhile, so PTTHHHHT Diane. (G) My kids are both tall and thin around the middle for their age. So, when we find something that fits their waste it usually is too short, they end up with the Steve Urkel look. But free clothes would be great, I have stuff I could bring in if that were part of the requirment. We always have a couple of HUGE garage sales during the summer, and then donate what doesn't sell.
Good for you how awesome of you to help out that way and to teach your kids to do the same. when I donate I always donate to a clothing pantry or some place they give the clothes away instead of goodwill or some place like that where they sell the clothes. Keep up the good work!
I just got back. We put some summer things out, and they are still doing winter. Looking forword to helping again next week. Ther is alot to put on hangers, ect. Some stores had even donated new clothes, that were on clearance but did not sale. They were surprized and happy to see me. I had been ill with virus. Lots of help need again next Tuesday.
It is a great place. We have it in the basement. Household goods like dishes, pots, pans, sheets, ect. for people in need . There are alot in need right now.
