I was really excited to be selected to do a South Beach Living product review. This is my first time doing a Gather review.

Here is the package I received with 4 boxes of South Beach Living Fiber Fit products. I love the scrunchy blue packing paper they
came in. I will save that to reuse later.
This is what was in my box from Kraft foods.

These are the
Double Chocolate Chuck cookies, which are dipped in dark chocolate. There are 6 little cookies in each 100 calorie bag and 6 bags in the box.
The cookies are about the size of a quarter. Each bag has 5 grams of fiber. If you are counting carbs and subtract the fiber and sugar alcohol, you get 10 carbs per bag.
I really liked these cookies. They are crunchy and coated with dark chocolate on the bottom. They have a great chocolate flavor and are just the right size for a snack. This would be a great way for you to add fiber to your diet, or to your kids diet.

The Oatmeal Chocolate chunk cookies are also dipped in dark chocolate and have the same calorie and carb counts as the chocolate ones above. These are good, but I like the chocolate ones the best. Both kinds of cookies are kind of hard and crunchy, not soft and chewy at all.
I live in Arizona and had a package of these in the car with me while running errands a few days ago. The chocolate dipped coating on the bottom of the cookies melted quickly in the winter sunshine. I still ate them and licked the chocolate off the package....lol. So, if you are going to carry them around in the car, keep them in a cooler.

The Mocha Fiber Fit granola bars come 5 to a box. Each bar has 120 calories, 9 grams of fiber and 13 carbs after subtracting the fiber and sugar alcohol.
I do not like mocha or coffee flavor, although I did try a small piece of the mocha bar and it was not too bad. My husband really liked them. The bottom part of the bar is made of something crispy, kind of like rice krispies. The top of the bar has a soft chewy texture. The chocolate swirled on top makes it very pretty.

The S'mores granola bars have the same counts as the Mocha ones.
I really like the S'mores bars. They, too, are crispy on the bottom and have a soft marshmallow creme type topping. They are coated with chocolate on the bottom, too.
None of these products taste like diet food. I would buy any of them again (except the mocha since I don't care for that flavor). The packages say they do not contain high fructose corn syrup. Each box says it contains wheat, milk and soy. They do not seem to contain nuts, but are manufactured on equipment that processes peanuts, tree nuts and eggs.
I think these are a great way to have a quick snack and add fiber to your diet. They would be good snacks for me at work or for something to eat in the car on the way to or from work. I don't have small children, but I imagine that kids would love these.
