I am so relieved to have all that done. We pay way too much to get them done, but I was not able to get it worked through the right way this year. It's over and done with, though, so yay!
We wound up a bit less than we thought on State, which sucked, but we wound up about dead on for Federal, so that was nice. Either way, due to the first buyers home credit, we're getting a sizable refund this year. We were told the schedule is for March 3rd for Federal, but that lately, they've been running about a week behind, so it could be a bit later.
They also warned that they've already had a few people who have done the home credit get letters from state asking for more info, and if we get it, to bring it in, and they'll help us figure it out. They said not to worry if we do get anything, it's just the state wanting to make certain.
Fun stuff!

Either way, I'm counting down to happiness.
Our home was $98,900, but we only got a $7500 credit, not a $9800 credit. ;)
I just realized today that I have yet to get tax forms from one company I did work for that went out of business in October. I have no clue how to get ahold of them though.
We're still waiting to hear back from our tax preparer for our check.
The only positive thing is that we get more from State this year. About 100 dollars more.
