Let's pretend we're having a Gather dinner party and that everyone who attends has to prepare a dish. It could be an appetizer, a main course, or a dessert. (Don't worry – Gather already has the drinks on hand!) What type of food would you bring for the other members? What's your specialty dish and where did you learn to make it? Provide your answers in the comment field below.
Then be sure to check back in the Gather Food Essential tomorrow @ 8PM ET for an "After Dinner Party" for the chance to chat with friends and win Gather Points™. See you then!
UPDATE: Here's a link to the party. Don't miss out!

Remove the hot legs from the grill and serve with cocktail sauce or a garlicy butter sauce
one box of brownie mix, premade as direceted,, then top off with a can of Cherry filling, 16 oz preferred. and then 1/2 bad of choclate chips on top of cherry filling.
Bake as directed, and yummo
Or dirt cake ;)
It really is a zucchini pie, taste just like apple.
I found the recipe in the newspaper, I put my own little touches in the recipe to make it mine.
I fool people with it. Those who hate zucchini change their mind when they done ate a piece of my pie! I fooled my mom in law with it.
And because I just started learning how to make it and am so excited to share them with everyone, I would make some chocolate truffles, which I learned how to make courtesy the Philadelphia cream cheese box. They were right- they are SOOOO easy to make! And delish!
Everyone on a diet would be mad at me!
What time should we arrive? :)
Yummy and easy to transport on over to Gatherland =)
So since early summer, I'll bring home-made Strawberry Pie hehe
I'll bring potato salad; two kinds. One I learned from my mother: onions, dill pickles, celery (and/or celery seeds) mayo, big chunk potatoes. And the other from my father's mother: the same but with mustard added and the potatoes mashed.
And banana pudding; the recipe from the vanilla wafers box (with a few modifications).
