For the last few weeks, I've been hinting about some exciting developments in regard to Night and Day, the book that originally brought me to Gather.com. I wanted to wait and make the official announcement when... well, when I was ready... and now, I guess I must be!
For those of you who may have read the synopsis or the first chapter, this is the book about Jensen Marie Christiansen and Anders Westerlund... It's midnight in Minnesota and daylight in Denmark...
Now, for my exciting news: Night and Day is going to be published by Second Wind Publishing. It will be available as a POD and e-book, available through www.SecondWindPublishing.com and Amazon.com, and other points of distribution as opportunities become available. (I will also be selling the books at my B&B and tea house, the Blue Belle Inn.) And the best news... it will be available very soon.

Here's how it happened: The editor from Second Wind read my first chapter (or what used to be the first chapter) when it was posted on Gather.com for the First Chapters Romance Writing Contest, liked the characters and my writing, and approached me about publishing the book.
For the past couple of months, I've been working on the final revisions and all the other exciting aspects that go along with being published... cover art, bio, blurb, dedication, the dreaded photo for the back cover, and finally, the final proof.
Then, voila, it should be out, perhaps as early as later this month. I'll keep you posted. Thank you so much Cristina, Linda K, Marianne M, Becky D, and others who have sent me encouraging comments about Night and Day. I appreciate your enthusiasm and continued nudges.
By this weekend, I should be holding the first copies of my very first published book in my hands - a dream come true! I am so excited! I will let you know when copies are available so you can rush right out and buy one!
Thanks for listening! Sherrie H

I look forward to reading your book - and I hope to take it back with me when I leave Florida on April 3rd...
