On the top photo (left) there is a nail head visible which acts as a size scale. Almost on a horizontal line to the right a piece of ice about the same size. Never noticed that before.

Beryl - these were taken on a deck - the corrugation is from the planks of wood and probably is accentuated because these are macro shots.

These are the kind of wonderful shots that I could stare at for hours - they really do well as a grouping and also each tells a story - of course, I am a person who loves abstract anything because it represents what it is instead of what it looks like! Salud

i like them, but they feel colder (no pun intended) than the ice build up on the berries and twiglets. i think i need to spend more time with them.
