Carol V... Where ya be???

Has anyone seen Carol V.???  She hasn't signed on since the 12th.  She was participating in my Valentine's Day contest and had only one day to go!  She definitely wanted to finish the contest. This is not like her to not sign on and participate in Gather activities everyday!

Is there a bad snow storm or something up her way?  Maybe she is without power???  Down here in Houston, we are dealing with 65 degree weather.  This is a heat wave compared to where some of you are!!!  LOL

She has not responded to any of my replies and this too is not like her.  She is one of the few Gather friends that has communicated with me on a daily basis since we became friends.  I wonder if her husband is okay???  She said that he had been sick.

Should I wait until she gets back to make the contest winner announcement???  I have some concerns here...

UPDATE:  I just tried calling her and it says that her number has been disconnected and is no longer in service.  Would this happen if there was a power outage?  I'm concerned now.

I also just sent her an email to her personal email address.  I will let you all know if I hear from her.

Oh I haven't seen her either. Great now we worry. Who ever hears first be sure to post something so we all know she is ok or whatnot.....

with the economy the way it is a lot of people r in crisis situations. also she may have had a family emergency - or it could just b that she missed some payments on phone/internet - lets hope 4 the best.

wow i have no idea... i thought i had a ping from her today or yesterday... but i am not sure... this is weird, carol is here all the time... maybe they had a storm and here DSL and phone not working... hope you find her.. and let us know

there was a wind storm that could have done a lot of damage depending on where she is at their could still be a lot of problems with power/phones and a lot of damage to homes

{{{{{Teresa}}}}}} I love you for being concerned and I didn't mean to upset you.

I am sorry for not checking in Friday. I came home at noon with the same virus Hubby had. I was ill Friday night and slept through Saturday and most of Sunday. I am just now starting to feel human again and will be playing Gather catch up for a day or two.

The house phone number was disconnected in October when Hubby lost his job and we were trimming our budget. I'll have to send you my cell phone #.
